Frequently Asked Questions

Welcome to our FAQ page!

We understand that you may have questions about our services, treatments, and what to expect during your visit. Our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) section is here to provide you with all the information you need. Whether you're curious about specific procedures, aftercare, or general inquiries, you'll find answers to the most common questions right here. If you have a question that isn’t covered, feel free to reach out to us directly—our team is always here to help!

Can I schedule my treatments online?

Yes! You have the ability to book your first appointment online by clicking “book now” on any of the services on our treatment page. Your very first apt will be a 1 hour consultation apt (free of charge). During this time, you will speak with our lead esthetician who will conduct an in depth evaluation to understand all of your esthetic concerns and help you decide on a customizable treatment plan.

Can I receive laser treatments if I have a darker complexion?

Yes!! Although there are some lasers that can only treat lighter skin tones, at Carulli Medical and Aesthetics we have specialized equipment specifically designed for darker skin types. Schedule a consultation to discuss which laser treatments are right for you.

I want to start microneedling, but needles sound painful, will it hurt?

Not to worry, we provide all microneedling clients with a prescription strength lidocaine/ tetracaine topical numbing cream prior to treatment. Most patients feel no discomfort, at all, during their treatment.

How often should I come in for a facial?

We recommend you come in for any maintenance skin care treatments like facials, dermaplaning, or chemical peels once per quarter, or every 3 months. Coming in on a regular maintenance schedule will ensure we keep your skin healthy and glowing, through all of life's ups and downs.

What is a medical spa, and how is it different from a day spa?

Medical spas have specialized medical staff- like doctors, medical assistants, nurse injectors, and medical estheticians, that perform result driven esthetic treatments. A reputable med. spa will offer a wide range of technologies to address more serious skin conditions or concerns. We still enjoy helping our clients relax and get a luxury experience during their appointments, and have put thought into the small details so that patients feel at home in our office.
